    honestly, I've come down from 20+ and if there is any detrimentle shock in the impact, I'd highly recommend you work on your landings.
    The only thing that I've found really matters in shoes for parkour and freerunning, is the weight and the grip [and of course that it fits you as perfectly as possible]
    but yeah, if you're doing everything correctly, the only padding you should need would be just enough to make sprinting comfortable.
