Best Healer Class?

I, myself play a holy priest with disc offset, what about you all out there?

Personally I think priest is one of the most versatile healers out there, though beacon is a tad OP in my opinion >_<

Shamans too have their good and bad sides, blood lust with chain heal is pretty effective in 25 man raids, especially now with the 20% buff from ICC

And personally I think resto druids are OP in the older instances like ToC and such, however once you face ICC geared healers they tend to lack in the heals, just my own observation.

I can't really say which class is "best" since ^ is my only healer and i never really bothered to look at the healing parts of recount.

 

Priest, easily. They have the capability to raid heal and tank heal effectively, whereas other healers are often more limited.

 

Nice! Disc Priest right? I'm completely clueless when it comes to Alliance toons :s

I like to look at healing meters just because it gives me a challenge >

 

He's a resto shaman. Also, I've played two healers, disc priest and holy pally and i prefer the holy pally by far.

 

nah lol, I don't think a priest could ever have 13.6k armor. (it's a shaman like t4ank said)

Really enjoying healing so far on it, been thinking about rolling another healer but can't decide which class to choose yet. Leaning towards druids just because i'd also like to try out feral pvp.

 

Yea feral really does own, and yea sorry for the mistake, but with inner fire priests get around 10k or more armour with raid buffs etc.

I can honestly say a proper geared Resto Druid can do amazingly good. However, we're definitely not the best in ICC.

 

Resto Druids for PvP. They are OP and Invincible.

Priests for PvE. Either spec.

 

Disc priests are equally as good in PvP. Penance is a pain in the ass!

 

I have a holy paladin, pretty op.

 

Disc priests are much easier to kill than a resto druid usually.

 

I think priests for best raid wide coverage and holly pally for single target.

 

Sadly, this is true! Druids have the advantage in PvP for sure. By PvP I mean arenas.

All my resto druid friends go so far in rated matches, I agree priests are good for PvE.

Yea I agree, but for ICC their gear lacks haste, which is what resto druids need. Correct?

 

Priests have a multitude of spells for raid wide healing that is for sure, and I have rarely seen a paladin raid heal before.

 

It's situational but possible.

 

Oh for sure it is, however theyre beacon for tank heals are just so valuable

 

I myself play a Holy/Disc priest but I think a Druid would be bettter just because of the hots that they have.
