You can probably get a better ASUS one? I remember when I went PC hunting a while ago I found a better one for the same price(Comparing it to the XPS). But it was a while ago

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought ASUS computers were fairly expensive? Not positive on that, but I was looking up some info on them and they only sell on the odd reseller site in Canada and the laptops I saw were ~$1500+. :\

I have a dell XPS which I am really happy with.
Building your own PC is alot cheaper tho but I dont have the time for that and money is not a problem so I just bought an already made one.

I currently and have always used Dell and they've served me well. I had an XPS that I gamed on but had to downgrade. Still have a Dell and all the comps in my house are Dells. PLus, they're extremely affortable and usually have great deals.

Also, if you know how to build a computer, do that. That's your best bet of getting the best performance for a low cost. Alienware is shit. All you're paying for is the name and Dell offers the XPS which basically has the same specs as Alienware but for a cheaper price.

No brand is great, the only way to get a great computer is to build your own, like I spent $22,00 on mine.
    .Antec Case
    .Intell i7 quad core CPU
    .x2 Gtx 260s
    .Asus 24" moniter
    .Silverstone 1000 Watt Power supply
    .Razor DeathAdder Mouse
.Not sure which cpu cooler I got
    .Like 12 fans...

Custom build your own PC - they last longer because they have good parts, they have only the parts you need, only the software you want with it (if any) and are much cheaper than over-priced models like alien ware/dell computers. You can make a computer for £700-£1200 that would otherwise cost you £2500+ if it was sold be alienware/dell.

Building it yourself is the best concerning the cost.

However, best for money and value has to be Dell in my opinon.
