    Best botting program?

I've tried several botting programs that have amazing scripts, but always seem to have one major problem in common, events. I can't leave a bot alone for more then 2 hours without it getting stuck in an event. So my question to you is, what's the best program to use with the least amount of errors? I'm willing to put money into (as in; buying scripts or even becoming a VIP member if it will just run smoothly)

    Thanks

I think it's the actual bot client which is coded to do the randoms, not the script (I could be wrong, not 100% sure!)

Anyway... Most clients seem to have trouble with the Maze event a couple of the others. I used Powerbot for a LONG time and it did 90% of events and only couldn't do the maze one. It did most the others without a hitch :)

So for me the answer is Powerbot. It's also Free with some nice Free scripts. However, try SIMBA. I don't know a lot about it but you can code your own stuff or even buy specialised coded scripts off developers here on Sythe! Here's the SIMBA Section buddy if you decide to go with this option:

Jagex continually changes their random event coding so that bots have to spend a few days (or weeks) catching up the changes in the code. They do this by changing item ID variables as well as changing colors, so no client is left immune from it. I have also noticed some accounts getting stuck in randoms, so I am now just using scripts that are random-free (such as dung, bankstanding, and SW).

That's true that the bot program does have the random events encoded in them. However, some scripts sometimes have the random events coded also. I'm thinking about buying a pro script off epic bot. (it says it includes all random events)

It doesn't. The problem with using a bot that doesn't have failsafes for randoms it cannot solve (being almost every injection/reflection bot) is that if it gets in a random it cannot solve, it will usually fuck around and fuck up in loops until Jagex force logs it out @ the 6 hour refresh feature, or you stop it yourself.

RiD and Simba both will solve the randoms that it can, and for the ones it cannot, it will log out, meaning there's no risks to your account related to random events. The worst that could happen is you get the prison pete random, log out, and don't solve it within 15 minutes, which automatically makes you fail Prison Pete (not the others). This doesn't effect your chance of ban, however it does make it so that you will be getting randoms a lot more often.

Random frequency is based on the number of solved randoms in a row, experience gains, and if you recently failed a random or not.

The more randoms you solve in a row, the less often you will get them
If you fail a random, you will get them more often
You will get a random after X experience has been earned, regardless of the activity. If you are using a bot that gains lots of experience quickly in an area that gets randoms, you will get the randoms more frequently. Every time you solve a random, you will get the next random after X + Y. X is the previous experience gained before you got the random, and Y is an unknown number that Jagex's systems automatically choose. This means, for example, if you got a random after ~300k exp, your next random would be sometimes after 300k exp. If you are solving randoms successfully, you will not get a random after less exp than was gained before getting your last one.

If you fail a random event: Let's say you're up to ~400k exp before you got a random. Then let's say you failed the next random you bot. It is likely our exp needed counter will drop heavily. Most of the time I fail a random I get my next 1-3 randoms after ~70-80k exp, and then after that it usually goes up.

To my knowledge there are 0 public bots that handle all randoms effectively every time, so if this is your issue with botting you are going to have to get over it, its a risk thats predominant in all bots. PB is doing some work on their randoms but need more accounts to be used that are currently stuck on the randoms, so any bit of community help would help solve the problem. Ive given them my account stuck on the maze twice so far, havent noticed any marked difference but they ARE trying.

It was said somewhere in the recent Q&A about bots I think, Mod Mark didn't like randoms because they are a hassle or something to legitimate players, I don't remember his exact words.

Yeah Main is correct. Mod Mark stated that he plans to remove random events sometime after the Botany Bay and Automated Detection System is launched.

He said that since some bots can already get around them, new players get fucked up by them, and the new automated system will not really need randoms, it's best to remove them.
