Best bolts?

Which bolt should I use for simply killing hill giants, dragons, etc. I need something that hits good but at the same time isn't the most expensive. In other words I need to find a happy median and dont even know the effects of all bolts.

 

I would personally go with mith cheap :laugh:

 

Mith/Broad/Adamant.

 

Broad bolts if you have 55 slayer, if not just use mith.

Although if you want better ranged exp I definitely suggest you use an MSB with steel arrows as opposed to a crossbow. It's a common mistake people make just because the crossbow is more powerful. The MSB on rapid is 1.5x faster than that crossbow on rapid and those hits add up and yield a decent amount of exp more over each hour.

 

^ What he said. Personally, I don't use any bolts other than broad. What is your Ranged level?

 

Bone bolts are cheap, if money doesnt matter I would use knives personally.

 

Broad bolts are the best, hit as hard as adamant and cost significantly less.

 

Deffenetly broads if you can use them.

Mith or Broad. I'd really advise Broad as they're much cheaper than Mith, and they hit the same as Adamantite. I personally use Broad on my main whenever I Range.

 

broads are definetely the best, but if you are going for XP, I would recommend a MSB or knives

 

I used bone when I got 70 range. They're not bad if you're poor.

Broad bolts or addy bolts, if u have accumulator.

 

deff broad, good for money, hit high like addy.

 

This. They're cheap and pack a punch.

 

Train with Dragon Arrows and Dark Bow..
If you can't afford that, then Broad. If you can't afford that, Bone Bolts till 99 Range =]

I'd use dragon bolts with the new dragon cbow.

 

I use mithril, they hit constant at 80+ Range.

 

Mith are cheap and effective against hill giants.
