Above your join date there should be a box with an exclamation mark.
Above that, you should see 'Display Modes'. To the left of that, 'Rate Thread'.

Click Rate Thread, select a rating, and submit 'Vote Now'.

As for your removing a poll, I don't think that's possible, you can however when creating the poll select when you would like it to end, but I don't think you can remove it completely just by editing it.

 

You can actually get a global moderator to edit it out for you.
