Beginner Graphics - youtube design. Please offer suggestions <3

The following are some youtube designs which I made for 2 different youtubers

Please suggest areas of improvement, tips etc as I'm a beginner ^_^

 

Alot of the it should be cut off when actually on youtube. I suggest making the area which a normal user see's more interesting. Right now, the regular user will only see the text and everything on top of it is cut off.

I like the first one more, as far as the background. The main problem I see with the first one is the text blends into too much into the background. As for the second one, the text is better but the top throws me off.

 

I like the "abstract" patterns going on in the background. One thing I can say is that the text is quite difficult to read, so I would change the font or something?
