Been wanting to bot for a long while now

I just don't know where to start.
I have no problem paying money for good scripts, etc
I just don't know what a good bot is vs a bad one, what clients to use

I'm more into skilling than gold farming, although it is something I'd like to do in the future.
Any help is appreciated

 

You can begin by exploring it yourself by googling 'Runescape bots'. A few examples are Tribot and Epicbot. However, there are certainly more. Just ask around!

A good bot is one which is generally recommended the most by Sythe users. A bad is one whose name is barely mentioned on threads and/or have negative reviews by Sythe users. It's quite easy to sift through the bad ones.

 

Anyone in particular you recommend to people?

Personally, I've used Epicbot for one of my mains. However, due to me using a new script that was recently uploaded at that point in time, it got banned within 2 days. But that was back in June 2013.

Epicbot is still great, just be wary of the scripts that you are using. I've used their free Fishing and Woodcutting scripts for RS3 and not once was I banned.

 

Ive seen a couple users post about RuneMate being a good choice, any thoughts on it?
And I might try EpicBot out, was it recently that you botted Fishing and Woodcutting?

Honestly just thought it might be worth mentioning that the Rs3 team has pretty strong bot detection at the moment, so be careful

 

Agreed. DarkScape seems to be a safer alternative right now, and the profit yield is higher too.
