This sounds like a serious addiction that you need professional help with, the first thing i'd do is speak to your parents about it since you're still young and shouldn't be spending that crazy amount of money on a game at your age and then after that i'd talk to a school counselor as Bulletproof suggested, best of luck!

You're addicted to the rush and false sense of accomplishment triggered by the game. Similar to those who play 18 hours a day maxing out skills, just in another form.

Try getting involved in more active social events and spending less time online.

I know it's wrong for me to assume, but if you've scammed lots of users and stake the rest of the time, I'm sure you're on too much and it's become part of your daily routine in addition to being an addiction.

I'm not a psychologist. However I do believe in self help.

I think the best solution to overcome your problem, is make the effort to identify it yourself on a deeper level. Sure you can try find somebody to hold your hand, but it will only be you who can implement change in your life.

Just remember, you can't replace one addiction, with another. But one day your scamming and dishonesty will slap you in the face, and you'll feel the guilt. Tighten your pants for that ride. I wish the best of luck to you.

Gambling addiction, also known as compulsive gambling, is a type of impulse-control disorder. Compulsive gamblers can’t control the impulse to gamble, even when they know their gambling is hurting themselves or their loved ones. Gambling is all they can think about and all they want to do, no matter the consequences. Compulsive gamblers keep gambling whether they’re up or down, broke or flush, happy or depressed. Even when they know the odds are against them, even when they can’t afford to lose, people with a gambling addiction can’t “stay off the bet.”

Gamblers can have a problem, however, without being totally out of control. Problem gambling is any gambling behavior that disrupts your life. If you’re preoccupied with gambling, spending more and more time and money on it, chasing losses, or gambling despite serious consequences, you have a gambling problem.

Try joining a team or sport. May take your mind away from that. Also maybe get a job and earn your money that way when you spend it it may feel like more of a burden to spend.

    Best of luck mate!

Scamming is more of an empathy problem than anything else. If you don't feel for other people you won't have a problem with scamming which is a sign of sociopathy, so in this case you will need professional help because no matter how much I tell you the people you have scammed are hurt by it, you might not really care all that much.

As for gambling, I see gambling as a guaranteed way to eventually lose money. This is due to the sunk cost fallacy and the need for more and more. If you are ahead, you will still not generally be satisfied and just keep staking whatever you have. However, if you're down, you will still continue to stake due to you already having invested so much gold into staking already that you need to recoup your losses. Gambling always works against the gambler in the long term. In the short term, maybe not, however, you seem to be a long term gambler which is why there is close to a one hundred percent chance that it will just keep hurting you.

    Good luck.

You're 15 years old and in highschool. You should be elbows deep in freshman pussy right now. I can guarantee you wont be thinking about runescape when you're moving your way along those base's. Seriously just get off the computer and call that slutty kinda fat chick who likes you. Everyones gotta start somewhere...

Completely nailed it, it's the neurotransmitter rush that hooks people.

You need to see a counselor man. That's all you can do, and stop gambling of course.

Hey! i assume most the money you acquire comes from some sort of family. just think outside the box for a minute.

The money you are gambling is essentially coming from your family. so you aren't only wasting your money, but your family's.

People often cringe when they find out its not only a burden to themselves, but to someone close. Others really know it's a big issue when they don't care where they get the money from, as long as they have the money for their addictive needs. A lot of guides or counseling will state that admitting to the problem is the first step to recovery. but that goes hand-in-hand with having the motivation to quit their problem/addiction. Both seem to be fairly present in your statement, which is a good sign. Next thing i would do is talk to somebody in real life that has meaning to you that could help guide you through. since your young, i would say a parent. If you want to be anon, i would try some of the contact information on this guide:

Get involved in a different hobby/activity. Maybe a different game will allow you to cool down.
