Battleperks|Compete, Challenge & Earn Prizes.

Battleperks is a gaming ladders site (think MLG), where players are ranked according to skill using the Elo ranking system. The difference with BattlePerks is that players can wager points on matches. These points can be used to purchase high-value items from the store, or even get cash through PP. To earn points, players can shop with partner sites, complete offers (e.g. "Signup for Gamefly and receive 2500 BattlePoints"), or refer friends. The natural effect will be that the points will tend to flow uphill towards the more skilled players who can, in turn, redeem these points for prizes.
Some people may not be interested in playing in the point-based matches so we will have non-wager matches for them as well. A player will still earn skill points in these matches that will contribute to a his overall ranking, but he will not receive BattlePoints.

Using the point-based system, players will be able to have referees for matches. This will reduce cheating, and will be a way to curtail unsportsmanlike conduct. The referees will be approved by Battleperks, and will be eligible to receive a portion of the points wagered in that match as a tip for their service.
