Battlefront 11/17/2015 EA

Anyone excited for this new Battlefront? I loved Battlefront 2, so when I saw they are making a 3rd I got way too hyped.

Looks to be quite immersive and unique compared to the other shooter games. Yes it has the same concept but there seems to be more options on gamestyle and strategy.

Do you think there will be a market for it? (leveling, etc.)

I work at the local GameStop and we got positively swamped today with people picking this game up. We did over $6,400 in sales and I'd wager at least 50% of it was purely Battlefront and related items (Deluxe Edition, Season Pass, Posters, etc.) It looks pretty damn decent as far as polished graphics and gameplay go, but the last Battlefront I played was the very original a long ass time ago so my standards are relatively low. I could definitely see a market developing for it, as least for a little while.

I had the first two games. BF1 had the best overall combat & balance, but BF2 had the most dynamic gameplay. Galactic conquest was always a fun mode to play as well.

However, I think the third edition of the game has really big shoes to fill, especially with something as hard to capture as genuinely fun gameplay. I wouldn't want them to release another Battlefront title just to capitalize on the new movie release...

game was shallow as expected
