    Basic On How To Warm Up/Stretch Before A Soccer Game!

    How To Properly Warm Up/Stretch Before A Soccer Game!

    Step 1: Jogging. Jogging around a field that is about 30 - 40 feet long and 25 - 30 Feet Wide Field. You may run around the field atleast 3 - 5 times.

    Step 2: Touch Your Toes. Put your feet together and touch your toes. Touching your toes will losen your leg musles. *Caution*Remember when doing this "NOT" to bend your knees. I know it will burn at first but you will get used to it. Do this for about 1 to 3 minutes.

    Step 3: Thigh Stretch. Put foot behind your butt/back and pull it tight but not to tight. Do as shown:

    Step 4: Jumping Jacks. Well.. First spread your arm and feet 3 feet from the other limb/arm/leg. And bring them together arms and feet while jumping and keep doing it as long as you think is neccecary.

    Step 5: Sitting Groin Stretch. Put one leg straight and bend the other one all the way as directed below:

    Step 6: Butteryfly Stretch. Sit down pull your feet toward yourself and push down on your thighs. Make sure you don't keep pulling/pushing up and down fast because you can pull a muscle.

    Additional Information:
    The way my highschool team stretches (and we are a AA team thank you very much) is we jog half way across the field(horizontaly) sprint half, jog half, sprint half. Butt kicks (kicking your butt ass you run) and high knees (duh?). Then half way facing gold to the side and halfway facing the field to the side. Then for the actual stretch we spread legs go down to the right, left, center. Then we do quads (standing on one foot and pulling up) and then feet together and down right over left (feet together) and down left over right, and down. butterfly strech sit downright in left foot out, left in right out. and then pull our right thigh over are left leg and hold and then pull left over right and hold.

    Nice guide. I play soccer. I know most of these and you could add the butterfly one where you sit down pull your feet toward you, and push down on your thighs.

    you could add more stretches for calf, thighs, etc.also jogging in different styles such as sideways, backwards, etc. nice guide 6/10

    This realy works, I havn't felt stiff at all when ive played any of my matches :)

    Make shure to stretch once your done playing aswell. Feel free to add this stuff just credit me :)

    I don't understand how you get tired. While your jogging don't jog fast. Jog at a pace that is good for you. It is good to job with someone else so if your jogging at a good pace you could actually talk to the person, without breathing heavily or pausing at each word. Hope this helped xD
