Barrows Pure (Best Equip)

FIRST OFF: I don't wanna hear "BARROWS PURES ARENT PURES!!11!!one!11" Because I honestly don't care. I have 70 def, and 99 str, and every time i refer to my stats, I'm not going to say that. "Barrows pure" suffices.

I have NEVER had an account that wasn't a zerker pure or 1def pure, that's why I'm asking this.

Most only thing i plan on doing is training my attack to 99 (currently 75). I'll more than likely only stick in soulwars, and from time to time might do a slayer task or two. I was wondering if a GS/torso/bandos/zerker would be more effective than a full barrows set, as far as damage to def goes. Note: Money isn't much of an issue.

Nicer str bonus, nicer hits... but a much smaller def bonus, it's mainly a good rushing set but not good for regular pking if you're not prepared to lose the stuff.

 

My internet isnt fast enough to safely PK, I use my droid for internet, so PKing isnt on my todo list.

And im assuming your comparing the bandos over barrows?

 

Obviously the greater strength bonus you get, the less defence you will have. I like wearing GS, Barrows gloves, Torso, Zerker helmet and the rest of it but to be honest that type of pking is only worthwhile for a lower account. Just Dharok; against monsters I'm assuming...
Most worthwhile monsters, you'd need prayer anyway, so just go for low hp dharoks or high strength low defence set up. Good luck.

 

Go to Bounty Worlds+1 once you're a maxed barrows pure, use full DH w/ AGS and Veng.

Then why would you possibly stay low def? If you don't want to pk just get 99 def too obv.

Str bonus > Barrows sets by far when it comes to training, even if you do have full dh at 1 hp max str bonus with a whip still is faster xp against just about every monster.

If you're pvping I like using verac's against people in tank gear, if there in rune or other low def gear than using max str can be effective

I have a barrows pure and I just run around training in barrows usually.

 

Im also a barrows pure
Helm of nez
Fighter torso
Whip/Gs
Rune defender
Veracs/torags/dharoks Legs
D boots

 

I suggest full dharoks with AGS

 

get full bandos with veracs helm and d boots. its a great combo.
