Barrows New Look And Updated Drops

I am going to miss the way that Verac looked : P

 

Yep barrows and dfs will crash.

Ok just to add on what I said before - alot of the items look WAY too similar, its very hard to tell them apart. Dharok's looks pretty fucking wicked, but unfortunately it is the only set that really looks that great, the others look okay so far from what I've seen EXCEPT for Ahrims.

... I am actually so appalled at how badly Jagex ruined my favourite set of mage robes!! They honestly look so fucking gay now, particularly the hood and staff. Godamnit Jagex !!

 

It's all going to crash, more of everything with nothing extra besides a new look doesn't help but deplete the value.

If they had improved stats or something new then yeah they will go up.

 

Going straight to barrows, ill update in an hour or 2 haha

EDIT: Ight, So i did 8 chest.... and guess what....... 823,752 gp value so ya like 102k avg a chest..... I'm sure i'm just unlucky cuz i hear so many people getting visages and crap, but yeh my attempt failed....

 

DFS most likely going to go down quite a bit in price, as the drop rate for it there seems to be rather high from what I've seen so far.

 

The whole point of a visage is that you get it from dragons. Kind of stupid in my opinion to allow barrows to drop it but it's not my game Graphics update is cool, but when you think about the GE, think reverse psychology, it works ^.^

 

Not sure why they are doing this when barrows is already being recycled over and over through the wildy with a very small amount leaving the economy. I'm kind of on the fence, on one side you will be able to pk cheaper but when you do get kills it will be worth less. This goes for dharoks pking which a majority of mains use when pking.

Edit: Just checked out what they look like and I can hardly tell the difference between them when they are in my inventory, I think they need more distinction and why change what was fine -.-

Exactly Mage is my favorite skill it was my first 99 and AH was my fav armor even when I had 12B i still wore AH and a phat but AH was my shittt I was known for always wearing it and now... I think itll collect dust in my bank

Exactly there is a ton of barrows inside rs why make it so there will be 1B sets of each? Barrows will be as cheap as d legs now... lol

also there's another thing; those 6 days of double drops will affect slightly the offer of barrows sets, therefore contributing to the crash

 

Someone should go take a screenshot of the newly looking Barrows.

OT: Good game economy, Barrows will most likely decrease in prices now.

 

All of the items will be crashing, DFS the hardest but the others as well because of the new 1/10 double loot chance.

 

I think everyone is just overexaggerating, and the crashes are mostly riding on hype...

Barrows, or at least Verac's set was selling from 800k-1m over marker price. I was flipping them for 200k profit per set. If you have any Verac's sets, don't sell em market

 

To be completely honest, jagex fucked up once again.
Ahrims looks terrible and so does Veracs.
Dh and Torags just look the same. Major mistake on their behalf but the double loot and a chance at a visage is pretty cool, not going to lie

 

I prefer the old look of barrows. Verac's looked beast before, now it looks like bullshit.
