Well, I thought I'd make a thread on baroque pop. I don't know if there's many fans of it around here, but, it's probably my favourite genre at the moment. The lyrics are often extremely deep and philosophical, and the instruments in the music are divine. This genre is truly beautiful.

Oh, and if you're expecting to hear normal band instruments when/if you check out this genre, don't. You'll hear instruments such as violins, harps, banjos, flutes, ukeleles and a lot of other instruments.

Some artists in this genre include: Andrew Bird, Sufjan Stevens, Elliott Smith, Vampire Weekend, Grizzly Bear, Rufas Wainwright, and a ton more.

^ That's not the best list... Just some of the artists I listen to. I could list a lot more. :3
