Yes! I wholeheartedly agree with you, and seeing his infomercial tonight made me even more pro-Obama. He will do our country good if he's elected, because he actually has plans and ideas to clean up this mess, and he's normal, for the most part. I just hope to god that if Obama DOESN'T get elected, that McCain won't be as bad as George W. Bush...

 

I missed the infomercial, I was working at the local Obama HQ.. How was it?

 

My family and I all thought that is was pretty good. He came off as more of a real person, with values, etc. He made some good points. Hopefully it will be online somewhere, sometime soon. There wasn't any slander, or anything at all, about John McCain, it was only about HIM and what HE was going to do.

 

That's one of the things I respect the most about him - he keeps his campaign above the fray. He knows that he doesn't have to resort to political mudslinging, his policies can stand for themselves.

Yes - I can't deny the fact that he is an incredible speaker, while McCain can barely read from a teleprompter. And his campaign has cost almost double that of McCain last I checked, but that doesn't even really matter. Yes, if it was a public speaking or "general appeal" contest, he'd win. Luckily, it's not. And McCain is picking up ground. Why oh why did he have to pick Dumbbitch Palin as VP though? Fuckin' A.

How doe she give hope to all the terrorists over the world? Just because they support him doesn't mean he supports them. As far as I knew racial prejudice doesn't equal terrorism. Obama only stuck with the the Reverend because he agreed with him most of the time, but didn't agree with the racial issues. The only reason he probably walked in the 1,000 man walk (or whatever) is probably to do a favor for the reverend. Which still doesn't mean that he supports that guy (can't think of name).

 

Calling him your mentor doesn't just mean you agree with him most of the time. It means you feel a strong connection. And it was 21 years, then all of a sudden he leaves, just a short while after calling him his mentor? Hmm - sounds like a bit like avoiding suspicion to me.

Walking in the Million's Man March is one thing. Helping to organize and lead it, with arguable one of the world's most anti-Israeli and anti-semitic people in the world is something different entirely.

I just like his ideas and his plans, they seem to make sense and they seem like they would work. If Obama is elected as President and he fucks everything up even worse, I'll be the first to admit that he had convinced me that he was going to help.

Obama could get assassinated, that leaves us with Joe Biden. McCain could have a heart attack, or some other medical condition, and we'll be stuck with Sarah Palin. Which is worse?... Lol.
