banned for using a proxy at a coffeeshop?

hello, i just got banned for "ban evasion " from what i understand is that i am linked to banned people.

i cant post a dispute on my ip either because when i try to go the forums a screen opens and i cant click it away or something

anyways, i cant really understand why im banned for using a proxy at a coffeeshopthat linked me to banned people . i couldnt acces the site there without a proxy, it was giving the same screen that i have now..

All of the IP's you used on this website, are proxies.
This is the reason you are linked to a rough 30-40 other users.

Proxy use is not prohibited, though I would like to know why you never visited using your own IP.
