standalone, it comes with the EXACT same plugins as runelite.

it only becomes bannable when you start adding plugins.

Tyrans tweet stated it goes against their 3pc policy (which any client not on the approved list does), he did not say "if you download oprs, you are at risk of being banned the moment you logged in".

if that was the case, why do people on tribot/osbot/dreambot etc not get instabanned on login?

 

Did anyone confirm that it only becomes bannable when you start adding plugins or are you just assuming? The tweet itself is very clear and mentions only the client and not additional plugins so I don't understand what you're basing this off.

Ayiza said on a Dino stream that it’s not endorsed so there is always a risk of account hijacking etc. he did say if you use a cheat client or ahk or any automation in PvP, they can now detect it and you will get banned.

Can you find me a source that contradicts tyrans tweet saying that we can use openrs and its only bannable when you add plugins? I'll believe ya then.

 

Molgoatkirby and a fair few other streamers that speedrun inferno use openosrs. They’re openly using it and not banned.

 

Well if we're just going by reddit comments, most of them use bluelite and not openrs which hasn't been confirmed if its allowed

 

they dont ban for openosrs but it depends what plugins u use there and if u get caught for them.
