Banned for "offering to supply warez"

Hey I just got temp banned for 2 weeks for "offering to supply warez".
I think the mod deleted my thread because I can't find it,
but I specifically remember posting something like:
"Hey, I can post links to Adobe Software if I'm allowed to.
If not, sorry, delete this thread."

Yes I am just now seeing the rule against warez.
But I did not post warez.
I see no rule against offering it, and I even said in my thread that I posted "If this is against rules sorry just tell me" or something of that nature.

I do not feel as if I deserve this ban because I have done nothing wrong.
Yes, I offered it, but I never posted it.
Pretty much, all I did was ask if I was allowed to post it.
Which obviously, I'm not, so the Mod that banned me could've just PMed me saying I wasn't allowed to or just replied on my thread saying "No, sorry, no warez allowed here."

Seeing as you didn't actually supply the warez, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt.
