Banned for being an Imposter

Just today I was accused and banned for attempting to scam via being an imposter. I believe this is a huge misunderstanding. Here is why:

Context: Recently I have been looking into gold trading. I have contacted several trusted members of the community to seek advice in starting to trade on my own. I had work done my Lzad for a custom avatar and banner, as well as talking to Yirru and Pegasus to get a better understanding for how the market works. As of yesterday I finally landed my first trade. Someone by the name of stinkymedyas contacted me and here is the chat where we begin to carry out the trade.

As you can see, he asks if I am still selling, I say yes, I am very new, would you be willing to use a middle man, and kindly asked for a vouch if he be willing to work with me.

So here is where things start to get tricky.

Stinky agrees to trade with me, and agrees to a middleman that I choose for us. Yirru, is who I chose, as I had gone to him for advice, and felt he was good to ask as I had already started to communicate with him prior to the incident.

In this next screenshot you will see me asking the real Yirru if he is willing to middle man for me as I trade Stinky. Yirru agrees, and I let him know that stinky plans to add us to a group chat to do the trade. This part is very important... The group chat is where everything begins to go wrong. At this point you are probably thinking, "Well how do we know this is the real Yirru that you are talking to?" I just spoke with Yirru and asked him to confirm that these chats were sent from himself, he agreed, and proof will be provided in some form.

This screenshot ^^^ shows the part of the chat with the scammer, where we both agree to use Yirru, and he sends me Yirru's discord tag to confirm we are talking about the same person. I send him a picture of my chat with Yirru to ensure his security as well.

RIGHT AFTER THIS GYAZO IMAGE!!! I was added to a group chat with the scammer and who I thought to be the real Yirru. The fake Yirru had asked for an instant invite to the trading post, claiming to have been inactive. Without question, I quickly sent an invite to the bungalow, and he replied with a quick thanks, and began to set up the trade, telling me where to meet ingame to trade the gold. I meet with him ingame, and trade him 200m 07 gold. Right after the trade was completed I was removed from the chat.

In this screenshot ^^ you can see my reaction to the chat being closed and the beginning of my confusion. Yirru can also confirm that he never spoke with the scammer, stinkymedyas. Which is an important fact in the scenario as the scammer had claimed to be currently talking to Yirru.

Here is where I begin to realize the reality of the situation, and explain to Yirru what happened. Yirru responds with I believe he imposter scammed you as you can see, and Yirru can confirm this as well.

Unfortunately for me I do not have any of the screenshots from the chat I was invited to with the scammer and fake Yirru because I was removed from the chat as soon as the fake transaction was over, but I believe there is enough evidence here to see what had happened.

In conclusion, I was Imposter scammed by another user in the hopes of being removed to cover his tracks. I believe this scam was unfortunately very well executed, as now for one, I am banned from all forms of communication with the community besides the thread here and the people I formed communication with prior to the incident. Secondly, I lost 200m 07 gold, and have no evidence to prove it.

I would also like to add that I have literally just started to put my feet into the water of the gold trading community with hopes to both build and earn a reputation. I have done nothing but spend money and learn from trusted members to satisfy this task. I worked with Lzad, to have a custom avatar, logo and user image made for the future when I would donate again to sythe for $200 ranking, to help build a valid reputation. I believe no matter the background, we can all come to an agreement that this just does not add up. What reason would I have to imposter Yirru, after asking him advice on trading, and how the market works. I spent at least an hour asking him question, why go through the trouble just to take his identity and scam the gold. Why spend the money to enhance a profile just to take anothers identity. It just doesn't make sense. I spent a lot of time gathering the information here to help provide as much proof as possible to help explain that I really had no intentions of having this happen, I truly hope we can get to the bottom of this, and I am extremely sorry for having to take your time to review all of this.

 

I've discussed this with @Gladiator and i'll go ahead and remove lift the ban. This was appropriately applied due to the nature of impostor scamming, however, given the evidence you've provided its possible this was an innocent mistake.
