Banned display name xfer?

[Levanaux]

Sorry, I already posted this in the Marketplace Discussion subforum but now realize it was probably the wrong place. My question is, can I change the display name of a permanently banned account? (In order to transfer it to a level 3)

Thanks.

Buy membership and change the name on the website?

Yes, I assume this will work as there's no indication otherwise but Jagex have ripped me off with this sort of thing before, so I wanted to confirm.

I would wait until all of your appeals are up, then take a shot in the dark.

The appeals are used up, surely somebody can confirm that this works?

I'd just give it a go, its only a $7.00 loss.

If you're willing to try it, i've got some banned rare names i'd like to xfer also so this thread is very helpful.

Nope, you can't buy membership on a banned account.

I suggest finding old usernames, those are usually free unless they have been taken already. It's a good alternate.
