"Banishing the Revenants"

[JohnK]

Free trade and the Wilderness are almost here and I’m sure you’re all sharpening your swords, crafting your runes and starving your familiar to make it extra specially vicious. With bands of adventurers preparing to reclaim the Wilderness, it’s time to force the previous tenants out to make way for a new breed of danger.

The revenants have long been a thorn in the side of Wilderness warriors, with their incorporeal gloating and sneaky use of all three combat mechanics. Well no longer! This weekend we will be organising raids into the heart of the Wilderness, to seek out and destroy this spectral menace once and for all!

We’re calling on you to help us in this task in what will be your last chance to kick nine shades of ectoplasm out of the revenants. No doubt, after such an onslaught, they’ll be seeking new pastures somewhere in Gielinor...

If you’d like to be a part of RuneScape history and show the world that you helped make a difference, then join us in the events forums and help us banish the revenants from the Wilderness forever!

A huge rev-hunt with J mods, hmmmmm..... Could be fun.

[Lured Yah]

sounds like fun, let's peekay some jmods

[I Peter I]

Could be fun, I guess. Probably way too many people there though.

[illmaculate]

good, i hate revs with a passion.

[Weasel2013]

Lol..revenants are in the wilderness. They're calling everyone to the same place to "kill NPCs" ..

I want to say a legit clan with a lot of barrages just farcast everyone to shreds..

[hey guys]

I would like to know where this is taking place and When?. today or when FT comes.

[Louis]

It's obviously before the update, Jagex have stated the revs will be relocated for when the wilderness does come back.

They're going to be moved to a PvP dungeon.

[Nyx]

Ugh, finally. Never liked them

[ChristmasCracker]

If you can attack other players while it's going on.
I'm going to try to pk some jmod scum.

[o RoBiN HoOd o]

Step 1 towards the good days. I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex ruins the whole concept of the old Wilderness.

[Alex Xo]

Finally the stupid revs will be taken care of. <3 So excited for this update!

Sounds like it's going to be a total lagfest.

[capper4lyf]

Lag fest and mass bans. I bet there will be a whole bunch of glitchers there just for the hell of it.

[kill dank]

I always rev hunt, but there's never enough to kill.. do you think they'll make them more frequent for this event?

[O_R_L_Y]

OMFG I LOVE JAGEX EVENTS, lol. this doesn't sound like any fun, thousands are going to be there and it would be nothing but a waste of time

[Divine blob]

Just remember guys, if you bot. Don't click the link as Jagex can use Http Referring
