Ban rate statistics, please vote

A lot of us are curious about the ban rates.
For accurate data I suggest if you are a big company you don't vote

You will notice actions don't add up to 100%. That means that for example if someone sold gp they didn't necessarily buy gp, gamble or got service done.

 

Ban rates and detection are such an enigma. I've been banned countless times for botting but sometimes I'll put a super obvious/basic bot on and that account is ok.

 

It depends on many factors. Red flags:

• Playing on 2 accounts at the same time (ex: leaving 1 botting and playing on another one legit).
• If you've had a chain ban or even if not, even if it was a single ban your IP is still flagged and can lead you to further bans easily. I suggest you turn off your router overnight so it can change your IP.
• You can bot up to 8-10 hours max per day (from personal experience over 5 years). Just bot 4 hours in the mourning and another 4 hours during the night. You won't get banned, trust me.
• Overall it all comes to the bot that you're using. If it aint got an average number of users then just forget it. Always go for that and its rating/reviews.
• Don't bot on more than 1 account on the same computer (even though I know some people who bot in 2-3 accounts and haven't got banned with over 30m exp in the skill)

I have only ever been banned for botting, and when I was banned for botting it was a linked ban for all of my accounts and I also
could no longer access RuneScape.com
I started off really small, but then I ended up botting to almost max RS3 / Maxed 60 Attack OSRS pure with 100's of millions of
potential earnings from botting and I wasn't able to play for a very long time.

 

Their bot detection for OSRS has improved so much, heaps are getting banned

 

There are many ways to protect yourself.
You should first consider trading no more than 50-100M ingame so the system won't detect you.
Get some decent levelled account with quests maybe ??
Also trade where people won't see you such locations people doesn't really often go.

 

are you saying that if you bot 1 account and play the other account legit it is a RED flag ? i always though that was a way to stay under the radar lol

 

Keep it small, trade a decent account and you won't be banned! Easy as that. Jagex wants you to continue playing and paying for RS, so unless it really gets out of hand you shouldn't be banned.
