Ban "homework help" topics from RL Items secton

Who else finds it annoying that people constantly post threads asking for "help" on their school assignments?

1. This isn't a real-world item
2. Do your freaking assignments yourself and you might learn something.

 

Good idea. It is called homework to learn and to practice. But sometimes we do need help on big ones. Like projects or etc.
And sometimes we need someone else to teach us to learn. Not everyone is a genius.
But I guess on small homework, might be good to ban them to teach them to do their homework.

If it's large projects or essays, I'm all for it. I payed Darthababe with a Runescape account to code a game in Visual Basic for me.

 

Why should homework help for payment be banned? If someone wants to pay I'm more than happy to do their homework.

well actually homework is in the real world you know... I think it's alright as long as the kid isnt digging themselves into a hole.

 

nah i don think it should be ban like if i got a essay thats like 12% of my overall mark ( which i cant write worth sh!t) i would be happy happy to pay to get a good essay

 

I agree 100% with this, if you are willing to pay, then i'm willing to talk

2. As everyone else has said, if they want to pay to do it let them, and if you find it annoying just dont click those threads, its not hard.

 

It is virtual as the work is just being copied and pasted or sent as a file.

 

I wasn't even aware that people posted these kind of threads in the real life section ._.

Alternatively we do have homework help threads in the General Discussion forum as well as the help and requests sub-forum in the user education forum.

 

Agree, no need to ban it but maybe create a subsection although that may not get enough looks. Either way people pay good money for others to do their academic work, just today I saw a 300 word essay going for $10.

 

They need to print it off to hand it in, or copy it out if it needs to be done by hand. Is there any particular reason that you care? This looks like a good opportunity for some intelligent people to make some money by doing something they're good at.

As long as the person reads it when they hand it in so they know what the teacher's on about if they decide to comment on it >_>

I'm fine with it as long as they ship the homework to you, but if they just send you a file, etc, then that's virtual and it is already against that section's rules. It should be banned because I'm certain no one would be able to ship the homework in time, and due to technology, the person would just send the Microsoft word file.

 

If people want to buy homework, let them do it. Don't limit them by banning homework help topics or people doing homework. It is a good money maker if the guy is intelligent. So I disagree to a ban.

 

You are being far too technical now. The end product SHOULD be a hard copy.

 

If they don't want to learn and fail there coursework (Well technically not fail because somebody else has done it) then let them, its only gunna affect them in the future when there asked something about it and they don't know.
