Hey there,
I am disputing the ban that is associated with this report -http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1408885.
I feel that the ban is unfair and inaccurate. I acknowledge that I did in fact trade with the user "lviewlalo". What he stated was correct, we agreed upon me getting him 500 zeals for $50 via paypal. We followed the proper trade procedures, he I PMed him confirming that it was me and not an imposter. I forewarned him that I would not be able to start training until the next day.
The next day, I had very spotty internet. I had extremely high latency and was unable to log into/access many programs such as MSN, Skype, and my email client, Thunderbird. For most of the day, I was unable to access any websites. I called my ISP, Comcast, and they said that it was on my end. I took all of the regular steps of unplugging the modem/router, calling to "reset" the line, ect. Still, it appeared I had no internet access. Strangely enough, I could still ping websites. The next day, I called Comcast, and told them the steps that I took and how it was still not working. They scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out.
That being said, I believe lviewlalo had every right to report me. I was a no-show. I had not trained his account nor had I even logged onto his account. I was not on MSN and I was unable to respond to his PMs on sythe. He took the correct step in reporting me.
What irritates me is, that he accused me of taking items from his account. I had not once logged onto his account, as you can tell my the lack of training. It would be interesting to see if lviewlalo could produce some proof that I took items from his account or that I even logged onto his account. Him reporting me for taking items from his account is extremely malicious. I feel that he added that to the report just to ensure I was banned.
I have been a member of Sythe since 2007. I have completed countless amount of trades and have plenty of vouches to show for them. I would be a shame for something like this to end my career at sythe. I fear that a $50 trade and some miscommunication will be the end of me.
Lviewlalo was justified in reporting me for not completing/starting the services that he and I agreed upon. I never logged onto the account so, if I did truly lose items/gold on his account, he should probably scan his computer for a Keylogger or a RAT. I would like to resolve this issue. I still have the $50 he paid sitting in my paypal and I would be more than happy to send it back to him or complete the order.
If there are any concerns or questions. I will try my best to answer them.
Thanks for your time,
Soxfan
