Not really a solution to the problem. You are obviously not reading what I am writing to you nor my first post.

I read every single post in a thread before I even consider posting. Obviously you do have a problem with it and you are just trying to say it's other people's fault... A minority of other users disagree with them doing this but they don't go and complain and try to say it's their fault and they should be banned.

You have the problem here.. I only tried to help you get over it. o_O

You obviously don't read my posts, the only reason I have a problem with it, is that it might be someone else's problem some day. I wanted opinions whether you think new people or retards would fall into this.

    Personally I don't care.

Summed up perfectly by Mr Louis.

It's funny getting people to ask me "How did you get master grand master?"

Stop telling me what I read or don't read. I already assured you that I have read every post.

And yes, the world will end if a new user thinks someone is called a Master Forum Addict, right? Don't be stupid. This forum is not all about trading and there is no way someone could use this as a scam. You just want something to bitch about.

No I don't just want something to bitch about, and as I just assured you, I don't have a personal problem with this. I am just afraid that it can be used in a wrong way against noobs or whatever. Since it IS misleading.

And there's plenty to bitch about, not at all why I am making this suggestion.

Seems people disagree, and I accept that, get off my back.

Oh woe is you, you're too stupid to see an obvious fake, let alone click on either avatar or username to view the original, or even just hover over to see the obvious avatar....

People bitch about the most stupid shit these days.

    Erhm, what?

I can easily tell the fake. As I said, it's not a personal problem of mine, I am just afraid it will be used for evil somehow. Well, reported my own thread for close, since people keep spamming retarded stuff.

    To clarify one again:

I did not have sexual.. I mean.. I do NOT have anything against it personally, I am just afraid it will be used for scamming retarded noobs.

Well even in your example, I don't see a single thing significant about the phrase "omg" added to his name. I understand that it may be possible to be somewhat sketchy if it shows a rank or something, but that was a rather useless example. Perhaps people who fake a rank should get in trouble? Not somebody with harmless text as an avatar. It isn't much of a mind-bender to just hover your mouse over the text to see if it's an avatar or actual text as well.

I really won't judge if they are trustworthy enough by their rank just mostly by their vouches and what they did.

It looks like he has a different username entirely, and he's able to change it(therefore able to avoid searches for scam reports). They shouldn't be allowed.

I don't think it's as obvious as you guys make it seem; a lot of the users here would fall for it.

I was thinking the same thing. Sythe member's aren't the brightest, and fall for much less obvious things, so I don't see why you all think this is a dumb suggestion.

    Personally I think its creative.

And if people are that fail to even not notice that, that is pretty funny since you can mouse over the "OMG" and actually see it say "IMG"

plus many sythe members look at post count and vouches before trading such and such with people.

Others don't care about post counts or vouches and will trade with people like "leechers"

But the whole avatar thing I think is pretty creative if you ask me, Doesnt do any harm. If it did i'm sure the mods would do the right thing and ban them before it even happened.

    No support.

Your example isn't the best. I can clearly see that there is something infront of his name. Its not that hard ;).

BUT it could be more of a problem if someone acctually used the exact colours of forum.

Everyone who is flaming the OP its just ridiculous he is saying many players won't notice and i agree many people could use this to scam.

To everyone says just scroll over the Avatar, well the OP can tell the difference as can I and possibly you but however every sythe member will not hover over the Avatar and notice they won't just think MAYBE THIS PERSON HAS AN AVATAR OF A RANK I BETTER CHECK they will just see the rank.

Why do retarded people not focus on the whole issue at hand but rather a tiny portion of it.
