Ban appeal for jbutler16

Hi,
I was banned for two weeks (jbutler16) for vouching a "known scammer". I bought 105m from him for $98.00 USD he did not scam me. So I vouched for him, I was unaware that he was a "known scammer" or I never would've gone first to him or traded at all!

I would like to know if my ban could be lifted or shortened.

PS if he was a known scammer why wasn't he banned?

 

He linked you to his page to vouch him. His "vouch page" was a thread that was trying to imposter another user's gold site. You should have read the thread he linked you, realized what was going on, and then reported him. You instead chose to vouch a scammer, which makes it easier for him to scam other people since he now had a vouch on his thread from a legitimate sythe user like yourself. You'll be allowed back in two weeks time, hopefully in this time you can reflect and think twice about trading and vouching obvious scammers
