    Badminton Rackets?

I have played badminton for around 4 years and I have used the same begginer racket all the time but now the racket handle is just breaking so Im considering buying another racket but not sure which racket to buy. Im looking to buy one for around 30 pounds no more than 35 tbh. Im quite a strong player who looks for smashing rather than defending or drops so I need a racket that allows me to smash quite easily. Any ideas? I have found these 2 rackets so far but i dont know which one to pick?

tip relating to racquet sports - xyzwarehouse, where xyz = name of racquet sport is often a good choice. for your case, that would be http://www.badmintonwarehouse.com/Badminton-Rackets-and-Racquets-s/23.htm

most brands have something in the $70 range. yonex has a bunch of cheaper ones, as do some of the chinese brands. im actually surprised at how expensive badminton racquets cost... but anyway, click on a racquet, read the description, and go off of that. top/head heavy is generally desirable for power players, so maybe strive for those (though they'll probably be more expensive)

also, if you play at/near a badminton club, they might have a racquet demo program where you can try some out before you buy them

Adding on to what Superfluous said, smashing rackets usually have tight string tension and med/stiff flex so look for rackets that fit those criterias

    Badminton Rackets?

I went and played with it today was not too impressed. Maybe it needs some working in but I felt as if I had the same power as. my old racket and it is even slower when picking up smashes.. not too happy atm.

definitely gonna suggest doubling/tripling your investment to get something you like. can you return your newest one? almost might be worth your while to try out a bunch of racquets at a club or something before you buy another

Play some badminton from time to time. You get what you pay for, invest a bit more and get an insurance on the racket :)
