Leaving

Hello everyone,

I'm going to be leaving sythe for an undetermined amount of time. This is partly due to my gambling addiction, which led me to the following purchases since the 12th, with the frequency and the amounts increasing as time went on.

These trades add up to 5,048m. However, I also bought some gold off of Semper Fidelis, but obviously he couldn't vouch since he's banned, making my total bought 5,448m. I also hosted a ton the past few weeks, making the total gold gathered around 7b. Unlike other people, I don't flip, so that means around $3150 worth of gold gathered.

What's so bad about this? Well it's all gone. All of it, I'm left with 686k on one account, but that's about it. How did I loose all of it? Gambling.

However, what's causing me to leave sythe is not the gambling addiction, but rather the fact that the last 1563m was lost due to Jagex resetting my account, which feels like a killer blow. It's one thing to loose it gambling, but a completely different thing to have it simply taken away from you.

I didn't feel so bad about loosing the money gambling, knowing that I could always make more gp and then sell it at some latter point, but now that my accounts are getting reset, I can't do that! I also needed that gp as a starting pile to being to truly rake in profits, but that's not happening anymore.

Since I'm upset now, I realize how silly it is for me to buy gp. I've literally spent thousands of dollars on virtual gold in order to feed a gambling addiction.

I know that once I cool down, I'm going to go straight to a Rite Aid to buy another $500 MP to simply restart the cycle, but I want to stop that NOW. So, I am requesting a ban on sythe until I can better control myself.

Sad to see a trusted member go. I should probably follow in your footsteps. I Bought 100m from grave last week and I'm up to 770m now.. I should quit while I'm ahead because its already really addicting.
