Axelus Scam Report.

Explanation of the trade: I was planning to buy two CSGO items:
1x Stattrak Factory New SSG08 Blood in the Water
1x Stattrak Factory New AWP Graphite

I had posted on sythe threads of other peoples CSGO shops and he added me on skype as a lot of other people have.

We agreed a price of 400m, this is actually a fair price for both of us, and is the standard rate for the trade I was making.

How they scammed: This is how it all went wrong:
On his sythe PM, he said that his skype is different, I was trading with a very similar skype username and he gave me a sythe pm instantly from his account. The pm came when he said it did and I have not talked to anyone of a similar username, I don't know how I can prove this but I am willing to do anything I can to help.

Along with this in his sythe PM he has edited a transcript to make it look like I was trying to buy 07 RSGP, again, this was my fault for not reading this properly and I feel incredibly stupid.

So when I traded him the 400m he refused to pm me again, I was in a rush and so was he so I didn't really think as well as I should have about this situation, he refused to send me another sythe pm despite me pressing him... this should have been a warning, but I'm tired and was in a rush.

After trading him the GP he asked for my steam profile, which I linked to him and then logged out and deleted me.

Other relevant trade screenshots: I don't know what else I can provide, but if you ask me for anything I will do my best to provide it, I acknowledge that theres a lot that I should have noticed, i'm new on sythe and have had good experiences with everyone i've traded with before, lulled into a false sense of security :\

 

This was a man in the middle scam. Basically, the scammer made 2 fake profiles. He made one of mileseverett (you can see his Skype contact name in the PM = mileseveRRett (extra R). He made one of Axelus (live.probemasgold)

The scammer then tricked the real Probemas into PM'ing you a piece of the conversation that Probemas had with the scammer who was spoofing your Skype. If you read that conversation, it will not match up with what was said in the conversation on your side, OP.
