HarHarHar, you have 22 posts and think you can criticize the staff? You haven't even been here long enough to know how the community works. It may be real, but chances are it isn't because someone, with common sense, will research a product and it's price before selling it to maximize their profits.

Just because I don't have a old account doesn't mean I haven't been around I have been buying upgrades and selling gp to the bigger sellers on this site for years now I just recently made an account to start renting out my maxed accounts. Because as I said before, the staff is pretty much garbage there is a small handful out of the staff that are decent at their job.

You're using the jew stereotype logic, not everyone is looking for huge profits, not everyone is looking to rip everybody else off. Some people just see a item that is uselsss to them and want to get rid of it. This is called logic, use it sometime.

Never heard that excuse used before :/

Then its clear you have never read any of the sythe staff rants on this forum because that seems to be their favorite line.

The software market is a new section, there was bound to be unforeseen problems. That was beyond the mod's control.

I was talking about keeping the forums safe etc. meaning locking the right threads, banning scammers , being smart enough to tell a fake pic from a real one etc.

But not for 10% of the price. Try and find someone in the gold section who is selling rsgp at 0.075c/M

That is completely irrelevant to the current subject, We are talking about 2 completely different things and here is why.

item one [ the cdkey\program] is a product you buy from a store, thus anyone can buy it and then give it to someone else who has no knowledge of the item.

item two [the rsgp] is a item acquired after spending time playing a game so the only people who would be interested in buying\selling this would already be aware.

Mostly true for tangible things. Electronically, age doesn't matter.
What's the difference between a used key that is 1 year old, and a used key that is 1 week old? Assuming that they are both legal, there is no difference. Both keys will activate the same product regardless of age.

Age always matters with almost everything. If what you say is true, A game like Modern warfare 2 should still be 65$ even though it's a old game and there are newer models of the game [ modern warfare 3]

Or that a diablo 2 cd key should still be 40$ even though the game is over 10 years old and has nowhere near the amount of players it use to have.

or photoshop 1 should still be the price it was when it came out even though there is the new more updated photoshop 5

Lol, I have no complaints about the moderation around here - rather than excuses we actually produce a system with efficient moderation and minimal problems.

The photoshop keys that were being sold i'm 99% sure aren't legal, but that's been taken care of, so lock this thread please.

I am sorry, but Jew stereotype logic. Please... This kid makes me laugh. You have little to no idea what you are talking about. Chances of getting a Photoshop CS5 key that is legit for under a couple of hundred dollars is slim to none. It is an absurdity to say that someone is going just get rid of something for 1/4th it's true value. The average price of just CS5 is $150 - $250, and that is the student edition that you get at a discount.

Not worth a full time moderator position imo - I try to keep an eye on Minecraft account sales (I actively pursue those who sell them) and I will do the same for the above mentioned sales.

I don't get it, what are they doing wrong? They are handling scam reports, handling spam reports and so on and so forth at a decent pace.

You're using the jew stereotype logic, not everyone is looking for huge profits, not everyone is looking to rip everybody else off. Some people just see a item that is uselsss to them and want to get rid of it. This is called logic, use it sometime.

Not everyone is looking to make profit, but at the same time, no one wants to rip themselves off.

Your logic is not very great. In order to not rip someone one else off, the seller must rip off himself? Why would he do that?

Then its clear you have never read any of the sythe staff rants on this forum because that seems to be their favorite line.

I've heard the IRL line, the Busy line, I'm done with sythe line, but I have never heard "I don't get paid for this, so I'm going to be a shitty mod."

I was talking about keeping the forums safe etc. meaning locking the right threads, banning scammers , being smart enough to tell a fake pic from a real one etc.

Umm, they do that?

If you can prove someone is a scammer, a mod will ban them. If you can't prove it, then a mod won't. Simple.

..what?

Item one, is a virtual product you buy from a store after paying your hard earned money.

Item two, is also a virtual product you can buy from a store after paying your hard earned money. The only difference in my mind is the pricing.

Age always matters with almost everything. If what you say is true, A game like Modern warfare 2 should still be 65$ even though it's a old game and there are newer models of the game [ modern warfare 3]

That is correct, but what I was saying, If you wanted a cd key for cs5, what's the difference between a key that is a year old, and a key that is week old. (keep in mind that this is not time of product release, but instead, time of product purchase.)

They are both going to sell at the same price.

This thread should be locked, as the original problem has been more or less solved.

I'm sorry that your greed seems to overwhelm you. But not everyone is like you, just as obviously not everyone is like me so I bet there are stingy, greedy, money hungry [are these all nicer than the first phrase I used? I noticed that seemed to upset you , but the funny thing about stereotypes they wouldn't be funny if they weren't partially true.] I also like how you have nothing to mention about your beloved staff, I'd like you to either pm me or post here on why think it was alright for Finn to be allowed on the site
Let alone to be admin\mod when he had scammed before, and even admitted to it openly his reasoning was " it was before I was on sythe "what does that matter? that is like giving someone like Jesse James full access to a bank and telling him " don't forget to lock up"

It's quite obvious most of the people on this site that sell keys like that are obviously key gend etc. but that doesn't mean you should make it tedious to trade for legit sellers, perhaps proof of purchase for multi key sellers?

Lol, I have no complaints about the moderation around here - rather than excuses we actually produce a system with efficient moderation and minimal problems.

No offense but I think you wouldn't considering you're a ex

The problem is that the moderators get there position thinking "hey I'm gonna be a mod on sythe I'm important or it brings up my trust a lot so I don't have to worry about being scammed going first awesome!" and once they get their position they go about their own business, when they actually signed up for a job, no pay or not it's still a job.

What sythe should do is with his report log system he had made for mods[ the one that shows how many locks they did etc.] he should add in a danger mark where if they don't do x amount of help they get demoted or something, without having something like this, the site will continue to be a haven for scammers\ware sellers etc.

Anyways it's clear you have achieved your goal for this thread so I'll stop with the bickering I just wanted to state a few things.

I don't get it, what are they doing wrong? They are handling scam reports, handling spam reports and so on and so forth at a decent pace.

Scam\spam reports aren't enough their job is to be looking for these scammers. They are essentially police, their job is to be looking for the criminals not sitting idle and waiting until the crime is done and over.

Not everyone is looking to make profit, but at the same time, no one wants to rip themselves off.

Your logic is not very great. In order to not rip someone one else off, the seller must rip off himself? Why would he do that?

My logic is completely sound actually. how can you tell if you're ripping yourself off exactly? There is no set price for used items it is what you want to sell them at. and I will re-iterate one more time, not everyone thinks so highly of their items that they need to go get it appraised and demand top dollar for it thats why sites like craigslist and ebay are so big. You can find lets say a pack cards for 10c on ebay where as in a store it would cost you a dollar or 2

The plain and simple is you can't judge rather they aren't charging enough or too much it's all on the seller If I wanna sell rsgp for $.01\m thats my choice and if I wanna sell rsgp for $5\m thats also my choice the idea that because its cheap its fake just doesn't hold water.

I've heard the IRL line, the Busy line, I'm done with sythe line, but I have never heard "I don't get paid for this, so I'm going to be a shitty mod.

I never said they said "I don't get paid for this, so I'm going to be a shitty mod." They always seem to think highly of themselves and don't think they are doing a bad job.

Umm, they do that?

If you can prove someone is a scammer, a mod will ban them. If you can't prove it, then a mod won't. Simple.

Oh is that true? Because I've seen numerous people banned with fake evidence or no reliable evidence. One person I know has done this at least twice is superman123321 [sorry to call you out there are others you're just the only one I can remember]

And I see scammer reports up for 24+ hours without a mod even looking at them, not so much as of late sythe himself finally cracked down on this a bit with the above update with the logs. but some logs especially in the night still go untouched for some time, leaving the scammer to be able to scam several people using his trust before he is caught.

..what?

Item one, is a virtual product you buy from a store after paying your hard earned money.

Item two, is also a virtual product you can buy from a store after paying your hard earned money. The only difference in my mind is the pricing.

Not hardly, product 1 is a item you buy to use a product, [the game or program]

product 2 is something you would have to know about the game to even know about it you're not going to go on a game like world of warcraft, and buy 3000 gold for 800$ just because thats the first price you see are you? on top of this, the game creator for product 2 [jagex] doesn't sell this so there is no set price, and thus the price will change, when buying a cdkey there is always a cap because of the original vendors price.

I think you all might want to learn a little about business and economics otherwise the real world is going to really upset you when you become of age. If you wish to continue this debate as the op asked for a lock feel free to pm me.

Second of all. I have major trouble understanding your logic. When I analyze it I'm going to place it in major-minor premise form for clarity

Major Premise: Ex Mods Like the current staff
Minor Premise: Tr1bal is an ex
Conclusion: Tr1bal likes all staff
Why this is wrong: There are plenty of mods who have left Sythe staff because they do not like the site anymore. I am also sure that if you PM'd Tr1bal and asked him, he's bound to come up with a mod he hates

Also, on an aside, Sythe does demote for inactivity, and that system I'm sure you just came up with has existed for years
Scam\spam reports aren't enough their job is to be looking for these scammers. They are essentially police, their job is to be looking for the criminals not sitting idle and waiting until the crime is done and over.
Major Premise: Staff should act like police
Minor premise: Staff only ban when a crime has been proven
Conclusion: Staff should ban without proof
Why this is wrong: Modern developed nations do not allow their police to arrest people without proper cause, and even then, a punishment requires plenty of evidence. Staff have also banned before a scam has occurred when conspiracy to scam has been proven (Feren Silver)

Here I won't use premise format because the argument is too complex. Instead I will number a list

1. The average price for a good is x
2. The good is not easy to get and x is a fair, suitable price
3. A person is found selling for x / 10
4. That person is extremely suspicious, because the person is obviously knowledgeable that they could sell the item for x / 1.5 and easily get a sale, yet they chose a much lower price
6. That person is displaying suspicious behavior, and while it is impossible to say for sure whether they will scam / are selling something illegal, it is extremely likely.

lol no offense but the mods are pretty terrible at their job, the excuse is always "well we don't get paid to do this"

I never said they said "I don't get paid for this, so I'm going to be a shitty mod." They always seem to think highly of themselves and don't think they are doing a bad job.
Hmm I wonder...

Oh is that true? Because I've seen numerous people banned with fake evidence or no reliable evidence. One person I know has done this at least twice is superman123321 [sorry to call you out there are others you're just the only one I can remember]

24 hours is not such an unimaginably long time that it will cause damage. Scam reports are handled all the time, however, it is humanly impossible, even for a paid job, to handle all of the reports as soon as they are reported. However, most of the time reports are handled well. In fact, just recently N4N0 cleared out the entire RaSc section.

Product 1 is not an item you buy to use a product. How did you reach this conclusion? How does the use of the item affect it's worth?

Product 2 is something you have to know about to buy, but so is product 1. Find a difference in this premise

In addition, I suggest you take a course on supply and demand. The price of RSGP is directly related to this, but so it the price of Photoshop. If at one point Gimp became better, then Adobe would have to reduce prices to compete. No item has a stable price. The only reason RSGP is more volatile is because the smaller trade volume forces the sellers to maintain a changing price.

I nominate Tribal

But srsly, the forum should get a once-over at least to find illegal sales like this. Graphics, mincraft, software, etc.
