Avatars next to threads

I like it , although yeah the default avatar is ruining it.

I think it'd look awesome if they became animated to.

 

I personally don't like it. But I don't know what would make it look better.

 

They are animated...

 

I haven't really been a fan of them, but I can't tell if it's because I actually don't like them there or I'm not used to it yet.

 

I like it a lot more. In my opinion makes the site look cleaner, and would even look a lot better if default avatar was changed.

 

Please give us the option to hide these... makes the site look poorly put together.

 

Or allow us to upload our own images at 150x150. However i think avatars would work fine too

 

I like this idea, maybe a logo for our shops or something.

Is this still going ahead? It'd be nice if we could hide avatars on forum indexes.

 

Last I recall, Sythe said that it'd be difficult removing them because Xen had to have something there, but I'm not sure. Not too sure if this is still in discussion.

 

It looks like shit. Avatars should never be scaled down.

 

I personally don't mind it, but users without an avatar should simply have nothing displayed instead of that ugly question mark.

 

So replace them with the thread icons like VB3 had?

 

My opinion has changed on this I like it, people can more distinctly see who's who. Still need to scale mine down to use, if someone could help

 

I'm not a huge fan but it's not a huge deal.

 

I like this, would make it more appealing

 

People fear change, you'll get used to it over time.
Once they've been fixed, I.E animated gifs smaller than 100x100 not displaying properly, the aesthetic will become a lot more bearable and appealing to the eye. I like it, it breaks up the bland.

 

I've got the same opinion. It's only been a few weeks and I'm already used to it and hardly notice it.

If the default image for members without an avatar was changed, I'd be okay with that.

 

I quite like it. Just a bummer when there's a lot without avatars does make it look fairly messy.
