Autosmither mystery?

Was using autosmither from rsbots today for a while. Logged on afterward to see all the items I was making, and the number of these would be in the thousands, were nowhere to be found on my account. Player was equipped with some random objects, one of which I was making. Everything else seemed fine. Am I correct in seeing this as a result of a random event in which I lost the objects? This doesn't seem right though as the majority of them would have been in my bank and none remain there.

I believe you got hacked to be honest. How you got logged out it a mystery though since you were using the bot?

 

If I was hacked then the were definitely other items in the account of much greater number that would have been taken instead. God armour left untouched but took mithril? The bot usually stops and logs out after a while. I'm elsewhere right now and logged in to check the progress. Strange but nothing to do but carry on!

 

That is why I always check the last IP logged on to make sure no one was on my account.

IP was the same as where the bot was logged in from so no hack. That is a good point, hadn't thought of that. The character was also in the same spot as when I used the bot. The bars had gone down in count significantly and I had gained several smithing levels....just no product to show for it.

 

Glitch? Watch your bot for a while i guess.

 

Ive had this problem before, sometimes it laggs and misclickes it, look for other items that are of the same metal in your bank

 

maybe a wealth reset?

 

I'm almost positive its not a wealth reset as only the items being worked on were missing. It appears, as eennee suggests, that the bot just went haywire. This has happened on a few other occasions with some other bots. I recall coming back to some miles from where they were supposed to be, walking in circles. Strange.

 

Yeah you might not have set up the bot to make the right thing. Search your bank and see if there is a large number of mithril items you didn't have before.

 

Fagex got you for botting, and took the items being used to bot, left you with some random items on, my fishing bot has done this before and i was left with blue antlers and blue tribal clothes on, i found it kind of funny, they left all my fish at 1 and left the varrock/cammy tele tabs to 1 also.

 

hmm..well if that is the case I still have my smithing xp...so YAY

 

IMO they are watching big bot mules trading over to mains, but maybe not. not sure

 

Ok. Solved. Checked the output from the console and the command prompt when I got back. My computer lagged out during item selection and was making a type of which I already had lots of in the bank. Found them all.

 

Lol I was just about to post that this is what it was, the same thing has happened to me before.
