Depends if you want to get a decent slayer level but as with anything really depends on what you want to do with it.

just seems to me that there is no good money making bots capable of 500k an hour so might aswell bot something worthwhile

Not all of them, I'd recommend that fairy and sumona.

I brought AutoSlayer but it requires heaps of dam quests to work good. I wasn't impressed personally but have heard great things about the bot.

The bot is able to run for days on end (there are many 24+ hour proggies on Rsbots website).
