Auto firemaking, plausible?

Right now I'm working towards 99 firemaking and I have 80k-ish logs to burn. It's getting a bit boring, so I was wondering if having an auto would be worth it. Just one that will burn all the logs. I won't have to worry about it messing up. I would bank and run myself, just start up the auto clicker or whatever when it's time to burn. This shouldn't be very detectable, should it?
 
Most autoers will bank and run for you, so it would be a hassle to stop and start it all the time, especially for 80k logs. If you want to auto, I'd recommend SCAR with SRL. Check out villu-reborn.com, there's a ton of scripts there, so you're bound to find one that works.
 
I want to take the least amount of risk of getting banned possible. So if I just limit it to clicking on the logs and the tinderbox and banking myself, wouldn't that reduce the risk of getting banned/having the autoer mess up?

I'll try it though.
 
Hmmm, I guess you do have a point. But I don't know where you're going to find one that only will light the logs. Because scripts have a beginning and an end. It might not just do the middle. That is of course, unless you don't use SCAR.
 
Yes, I was thinking of a mousemacro as a last resort. I know it's probably not smart to use it, but what if I was just using it to light them? It's not like every single thing I do is autoed, so it might take off the suspicion.
 
dont even bother, you'll just end up getting banned like the 1000s of other people that macro, ive tried it out for a while and got instant banned
 
use ghost mouse to record u flighting the logs.. then bank get some more logs click start and its doing it automatically

Back on the topic, if you want to auto safely, I would auto using scar with srl and a very good script and would do it for 1-2 hours at a time.
 
Sorry, but i would like to emfimasize the idea of using a macro on a account you dont care about!

And as an update for this topic, I went legit, and got 99 firemaking in two weeks ;)
 
My answer would have been a program that doesn't work on colour, it clicks the tinder box then clicks to where a log should be.

But seeing as you got 99 fire alreay... GRATZ
 
Get a trusted user to train that account for you.
 
Auto firemaking could be done easily with a good SCAR SRL script. There's not that many tasks in firemaking so it wouldn't be that hard to make a script.
