Lag is up to your internet connection. I mean fastest as in everything uses a system called multithreading, which basically takes high-resource instructions and puts them in the background while you use the client, so essentially more than 1 thing is being done at once. Given this, the client itself doesn't slow down and there's no need for a splash screen or anything.

What is the chances of being banned from this? I know it is just a client, but you state in your ToS that you do not take any blame if your account gets banned. What if the client is compromised in the future?

 

You can't get banned from using it, Jagex cannot detect it. As for the client being compromised, I'm not going to be a dick and pull a powerbot, instead I'll simply release the source for educational purposes like what Covey did with EliteSwitch a year or two ago.

Edit: If im talking in RS, it occasionally wont send the text through. Is this a problem with Rs or the client?

RS - Try loading RS in internet explorer, if the error persists then tell me and I'll see if I can make the client Firefox based for the next release.

No, there are no bots included in the program, but with the plugin system you're free to make your own using Eternity's class files.

 

Never used those kind of tools since SwiftSwitch im gonna try it.

 

Updated to 1.45, fixed all the bugs. The only thing I messed up is the "total people playing" display overlaps the CPU meter.

Can you tell me your system specs? Specifically processor brand + type and RAM count? You could also try running it as an administrator (right click shortcut or Eternity.exe -> "Run as Administrator" and in compatibility mode for Windows XP - right click the shortcut or Eternity.exe, click properties, then the compatibility tab at the top of the properties window, then check off "Run program in compatibility mode for..." then select Windows XP and apply).

I have an AMD Athlon II 4x3.4 GHz and 4 GB Corsair DDR3 (forget the model and clock speed). Windows 7 Professional. I tried the above troubleshooting.

Ah I know what the problem is. When you get the error, click "Continue", then click the settings button in the top right and disable the CPU and RAM meters, then restart the client. That should work. I'll add a fix next revision.

 

With Linux, you could use WINE couldn't you?

Isn't there something like that for Mac?
