Maybe make a rule that if person betting goes offline and after 1hr bet isn't called it becomes invalid. Think it's best that way opinions.

 

People should have the courtesy to call off their bets if they know they aren't going to be online for much longer, but there shouldn't be a rule enforcing it.

 

Perfect example...
Heads you place a bet at 6am EST now i call and wake up at 11am est but something very important comes up in your life and you cant come on till a week later....Looks like you dissapeared from the bet. Especially if i lets say rolled a 100 out of 100

Obviously unlikely but you never know what can happen.

 

Hmm nah.. people should be allow to place time limits at their own disgression though.

E.g dicing 100M 1-100 --- valid for 3 hours from :41

 

no support, i sometimes put up a wager at night and go to sleep hoping that someone called it the next day, time limit to me doesn't sound necessary.

Nope.
If you really feel this is a big problem for you, don't dice.
People don't forget they bet, and if they did a friendly pm to the user is more than enough.
If let's say 24h has passed, you can pm a moderator to ask for assistance.
If it's really taking a long time the moderator will ban the user until they are back, and if they are on a legitimate sudden leave they are sure to be back in a few days or so, and are sure to ask for an unban with repay.

Or you can just post "looking to dice $5 - CONTACT ME ON SKYPE SO WE CAN DO THIS IN A REASONABLE FASHION"

 

This. If you post it, then you are on the hook.

 

People can post time limits in their first dice offer post if they want, or they can call off a bet by posting again saying "Cancelling my last post bet [quote of the bet]"
