Asus Laptop 1024x768 resolution ?

I bought an Asus Laptop which came with 1366x768 resolution display and also came with a 64bit OS home premium. WEI was set to 4.4.

I decided to download the 32bit OS from mydigitallife LINK HEREand once completed, I burned it to a Dvd and ran it.

I deleted all the partitions including the recovery because I figured that I wouldn't need it. Once the installation was complete, I updated the WEI and it was 1.0. When I checked the gaming graphics and graphics, it was set to 1.0 so thats why I got a low WEI score.

What could have happened?

 

Updated drivers + done all Windows updates?

 

When you mean update drivers, do I have to manually download ALL the drivers from the asus website? X_X

I did all the windows update.

I thought when you install an OS, it automatically looks for drivers & updates for you.

EDIT : Fixed the problem, I have to download all the drivers from the ASUS website x_x

For future reference, your OS and Windows Update won't ALWAYS find the correct drivers. Some you will have to find yourself manually, Graphics drivers are a common one for this situation.

 

Yeah I checked and i'm going to install bit 64 OS Windows 7 since i'm gonna upgrade soon.

 

what in the blue hell made you wanna go from 64-bit windows to 32-bit windows?

 

Laptop was running with only 2gb ram.

I just re-installed 64bit haha

I just sent my laptop in repair too
