    Asperger Syndrome

Hey Guys, I had some questions about Asperger syndrome if you do not mind. So My Friend Has it. He Can usually be really annoying and just act like a complete dick and such do like fucked up stuff. People Expect him to have bad grades and such and he is also the kind of person that goes out with A's. Recently he got moved to a school for people that has diseases like ADHD, DownSyndrome, Autism and such. I Do not know so much about these kind of diseases but when it comes to Autism and Aspergers i've noticed something strange Atleast from my perspective, Like the last school i went to a guy had autism which i mentioned in another thread i made about MENSA, He was also abit like this his behavior was really wierd could be a dick and really annoying but He also went out with straight A's And like something with him made him able to read books extremly fast. The usual reaction was like: Yeah Okay i do not belive that you actually read that fast because hes eyes just went like up and down up and down and he was switching pages really fast. If you asked him afterwards he could tell you what he read about and you could look back at it and see that it was actually right what he said so i found that very impressive. Also He could Calculate stuff really good in his head.

The other person, The one with Asperger. He played Piano for like half a year. He got something so like if he listen's to a song he can play the song straight up on piano, He just have to listen to it once and he can play it straight up. I'm not saying he can play it completly perfect but you do hear that it is the song and he actually plays it really good. One of my questions are:

Is there any possible way that these diseases have anything to do with their intelligence?

Because I've Seen something on youtube a while back about some old person having aspergers, He Also Could play piano from just listening to a song but the thing with this guy was, He Could play the songs spot on without any mistake at all. I'm not saying it has anything to do with Asperger's Just saying that he had it aswell.

Please forget my terrible grammar, I hope you'll be able to understand most of it.

    Asperger Syndrome

Autistic people live in a different world, they do almost everything differently in terms of mental abilities. I don't know how to explain it because I'm not too educated on the disease. As it seems, people with autism lose skill in certain categories and gain it in another.

Asperger's Syndrome is an autism spectrum disorder, my older brother has it. He had trouble communicating and making friends throughout his school days but was a genius in the math classroom. He never wants to try anything new. He's also very musical and can play the piano like Beethoven. ^.^

I'm not entirely sure if this helped you at all, but I tried to explain the experience I have witnessed through my older brother.

google or asking a teacher at you're school would answer all these problems.

Off topic: Are you sure you don't have parkinson's...you made like 10 of the same threads.

That was by accident... I was submitting the thread and apparently it made multiple threads. I already pmed a moderator about it. That was actually pretty rude of you to say.

    Asperger Syndrome

There was this kid that claimed to have Asperger's in my English class last semester. I am not sure if he actually was or not but he was so annoying and started blurting out in class talking about how his life was so hard and he had tried to commit suicide several times. My prof. just looked kind of shocked and told him to put it in his paper.
