Asking omm's to lower prices?

I have noticed over the years that alot of times, when trying to make a deal, the trades dont happen because neither party wants to pay for the omm.
i know it is a relatively small price to pay, considering it is the safest method to trade, but alot of times because neither party wants to pay for omm fees, one party goes first.. and they get scammed.
so my suggestion is, ask some of the omm's to lower their prices (i see alot are 7-10%!).. and if a couple lower their prices, then most of the others will also in order to compete (or just ask all of them to).
i believe this will incline more people to use the official middle man service, thus resulting in less scams on sythe.

Not going to happen, OMM's can set whatever price they like. 7 - 10% or get scammed, its up to each individual trader.

 

We do this and then Sythe.org wouldn't have any active OMMs.

 

Not to mention that prices have gone down over the years(with the flux of OMMs). 10% used to be the minimum.
