Happy with my Apple Watch

 

I bought this for £325 ($415) from Thomas Sabo and I've been using it for a solid few years. Watch looks great with some rings I wear as well.

I also own a Rolex Submariner which my dad gave me a few years ago, but I only wear it for special occasions which is once or twice a month usually. I would totally recommend buying a second hand Rolex if one has the finances to, the watch will last your lifetime lol.

 

I have a couple Fossil watches and a Kenneth Cole watch.

 

Honestly, I've never owned a watch. Or atleast anything better than a cheap £10 sports watch.

Yet when I upgraded my phone I was able to claim a free LG Watch Style, they look like the most minimalist smart watch ever (almost don't even look smart), but I think if there was any watch I would have, it would be one with a sleek design.

so when I get a hold of it I'll give an update

 

Kenneth cole watches always do the trick for me.

 

Tissot PRS516 - It's my first 'good' watch and was a present from my parents for my 21st birthday.

 

If you up your budget a little (or go with the 1st gen) I would highly suggest an Apple watch. It's quite durable and is also extremely useful if you're used to getting a lot of notifications on your smartphone.

I went through a phase of square faced watches.
But now I much prefer the plain circular designs without all the dials. Really digging the clean and simple look.

 

Heard this one is pretty popular, also looks cool asf.
Nah tbh tho I don't know much about watches, I just buy a cheap one for like $50 and as long as I can tell time, it's good

 

Fossil has nice ones, I have a Kensington from Nixon, was around $200. I love the face on it and no issues with it so far, although I do hope to upgrade in the future.

 

I wear an apple watch, can't really afford a Rolex (yet) maybe someday hopefully.

 

I've got this one for over a year now, It's a pretty solid armani, bought it for around 350 EUR, which is around $310-320

Not a huge watch guy, so I don't wear it daily, but atleast like 5 times a month.

 

Thats an awfully expensive fossil watch branded as armani. Thats the caveat to "fashion" brand watches, they are primarily cheaper asian quartz movements in a branded case. Fossil even bought skagen much to my dismay. Really have to do research on "fashion" brands.. Armani, Burberry, Michael Kors, DKNY, Diesel etc are all just branded $50 fossil watches. Bastards even bought Zodiac, but I believe their movements may still be in house/not rebranded fossil stuff.

I wear a timex weekender as my beater/casual watch, have a ton of nato straps for it to go with most outfits. A seiko 5 automatic (my first "real" watch) serves as a bit of a dressier watch but still pretty casual. 70's vintage pobeda mechanical and a camy swiss mechanical as my proper dress watches. Those are the main guys, nothing too extravagant but good quality. Looking into a simple clean automatic or mechanical diver under 40mm in the sub $500 range if you guys have any suggestions. I prefer bauhaus/vintage type looks for the most part.

 

There is no need for me to do ''more research''. When I like something, I buy it. I liked the look of the watch, so I bought it. It doesn't have to do anything with the armani brand.

 

No need to get butthurt, enjoy your fossil watch.

And I wasn't specifically talking about YOU, just people in general who may not know they are getting fucked paying 5-8x what the parent brands watches go for.

 

To be fair, watches really just come down to the design. If you like it, I say go for it
