The problem is that white Americans aren't associated with their ancestry. Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, etc are constantly associated with their roots. With that, comes the stereotypes and a little bit of lulz (but loses a lot because of the overuse). Even though I don't speak Spanish, and live a typical American life.
