¿Rune Miners?

I'v got a level 3 with 83 Mining and I'm thinking of mining Rune, but I'm wondering... where should I mine? I know most people mint it in the Wild, but can I survive against revenants? Thanks! >_<

 

I doubt revenants can hit a lvl3 (unless there is a lvl46/57 rev out there
I've never been a mem, but I'm pretty sure there are only 2 rune rocks in the entire game-in the Wildy..also, bring nothing but a rune pick and maybe 2 tunas. If you die, you keep the pick and 2 ores, if you manage to escape, Yahtzee!

Yeah I don't think the Rev would be able to own you, he would have to be like a Revenant Pure lol.

But yeah, I think you would be safe. You would keep the pick and two ores anyway. So it can't be that bad of a loss.

 

from my old memory of wildy pking days back in '06, I think the spiders are above the rocks, which shouldn't come hit you most if the time
I also recall there being lessers/gdz next to the spiders

if you are member, bring a tab, so you can tele without going back by monsters.

 

spiders won't get you. and there are member rocks in the heroes guild but u can only do that if u increase combat... so maybe wildy rocks are only ones for you.

Thats not true. I go rune mining and it is possible for a spider to attack you. Its rare but still possible. I only see high lvl revs so I don't now if you'll encounter low level ones.

 

I don't recommend that because if he does that then his combat would level him up and then the revs would be able to attack him.

I suggest that you just watch for the spiders and if they seem to come close to you, move away.

spiders can and will attack you in wild by rune rocks. as for revs, the low lvl one can attack you out there, but rare you'll encounter it.

there isnt any rune rocks thats "safe" for you to mine or without the need to raise combat up to get to it.

 

they took rocks out of heroes guild i think, put summoning obelisk instead, is this true?

 

the summoning obelisk is there, but they didn't remove the rune rocks. If they did remove it, rune prices will go up since there's not many other spots to mine them and competition will be fierce

 

You can't teleport beyond level 20 wilderness.

 

You can only determine this by looking at the path/route you take to the rune rocks. Once you get to the rune rocks it's about 60% safer than it was getting to them. When your mining rune rocks you only see High Level Revs going past you so it seems safe expect for the spiders.

 

just use a rune pick, if u die u get 2 rocks. you can get 1 hit by spiders easily, i suggest when u log in to the new world, stay far away from the rocks but still be able to see if there are spiders there. so, u can mine the rocks, run back to the safe spot, llog out and repeat.
