Basically I need 79-91 smithing, I want a cheap + fappable, I mean afkable method, so would making iron ingots III into armour be good? If so how many iron ores would this be with 12 iron ores per Ingot?

It takes 6 seconds per ingot, so theoretically you can get about 580 done per hour, including banking times. This calculator shows you both the profit lost and the exp per ingot. In order to find the exp/hr, just times the xp by 580.

For instance, Iron Ingot (III) loses 9.3 gp/xp and makes 240*580=139k xp/hr. Comparatively, Adamant Ingot (I) loses only 8.88 gp/xpp but makes 270*580=161k xp/hr. Right now, for less than 10 GP/xp your best bet is definitely adamant ingots (I).


However, there's nothing more fappable than using a bot. If you do want to bot, I suggest making Adamant Platebodies instead. It's around 200k xp/hr and only 5 gp/xp. Another fun botting method IMO is superheating with goldsmith gauntlets, which is around 90k magic xp/hr and about 100k smithing xp/hr.
