Arrow

Agreed, thought it was starting to get a bit slow and 'dry' but this episode was spicy, excited to see how it'll turn out.

 

Soo many plotholes that it's borderline annoying now.

 

At this point I'm going along with it all because I really do enjoy the characters, but I'm almost more interested to learn about Oliver in the 5 years he was missing than watch him fuck around with Malcom all the time.

 

Malcolm: 'I am Ras al Ghul, I know everything about you and everyone' - referring to Olivers son, William.

> Doesn't know about Lotus, and is conveniently used to create tension between characters and in one episode disband the League.
> Oliver could have disbanded the League when he was Ras.
> Oliver struggles vs Hive's henchman all season, then defeats Malcolm in 5 seconds. Lolwut.

 

I don't care for the show in 'Real Time' as much as the first 2 seasons. After all this League of Assassins stuff in season 3 the show started to bore me in that plot line. I fucking love the flash backs to 5 years before hand, they could just play that if they wanted.

 

Pretty good episode this week. Thoughts?

 

Honestly, more interested in the mystical flash back story-line than the main plot-line at current.

 

Huge fan of this show. Slowed way down though. Not near as fun anymore. I still keep up on the episodes though.

 

Felicity is such a bitch. So accurate of how women are irl, literally zero reason for her to do what she's doing. Lame. Not enjoying these latest episodes.

 

Ahaha, this weeks episode, holy bad. This show has gone downhill soooo far. Literally only watching to keep up-to-date.

Oliver barely beating amateur fighters and every episode is centred around Oliver/Felicities BS drama. Season 1 and 2 were great, not so much anymore.

Only good thing is the mystical element in regards to the flashbacks.

 

Well, I hope that death is actually an official death, and not a fake copout. I didn't want Luarel to die, her character improved dramatically, and based on canon, she's a huge part of the Arrowverse...so, not sure what to think.

Overall, Arrow's still subpar compared to other similar shows.

 

At least they kind of took a twist with Diggle's brother and adding in some non-ramnatic drama.

I agree though, I like the Flash much much more this season. I didn't want to think I would since I've always though that the Arrow was a better show but this season just isn't any good.

 

There has to be more to her 'death', which leads me to believe it's fake. However, on the other hand, they interviewed Katie Cassidy (Laurel), and she said it's official and it was her last day shooting.

Then again, the whole having a heart to heart with Oliver and being totally fine, and asking him to promise her something, and nek minnut she starts having a seizure? Seems far too coincidental.

 

Hahaha, that was the worst ending ever. A complete shit season, and an even worse ending riddled with plot-holes and inconsistencies.

 

I may stop watching Arrow after this season the Flash is a much better show IMO. Arrow is the same old thing on a different day.

 

Agreed. It was definitely a weak season. From what I heard though, the main director was working on Legends of Tomorrow this season and didn't really pay attention to arrow. He will be back next season so I might give it one more shot. If that season is bad though, I'll stop watching it.

 

Ouch was just done watching Season 2. Guess I can't expect too much for next season, but oh well, still gonna try and see.

Bump! I know season 4 was terrible but season 5 has been great. Reminds me of season 1/2 where the flashbacks are great and the fight scenes are bad ass!

Anyone still watching? If so, thoughts?
