Are You Satisfied With PoE Recent Changes

In Path of Exile, some collectors of path of exile orbs are way too concerned about how balanced this game is instead of how fun it is. With the recent ascendancy revamps that were for the most part buffs, there have been a couple of people who have been complaining about power creep and the game becoming too easy.

Best example is the little raizqt rant about monsters not beeing powerful enough that got a couple hundred upvotes some days ago. We all know that GGG listens to reddit, sometimes more than they should and I want to encourage them that the recent buffs are a step in the right direction after a year of heavy nerfs and 6% damage buffs.

What players complain about are: AoE nerfs were not fun; Removing the CoC gem from the game was not fun; Making ignite unplayable was not fun; Making active vaal skill builds unplayable was not fun; Gating Poison behind uniques is not fun; Making CI as bad and restrictive as it is right now is not fun.

The new ascendancy changes are fun.It gets me excited, it makes me want to play the game, I think of 100 different builds I can play with that and more. I don’t know what kind of person gets excited over nerfs, probably someone whose favorite build didn’t get nerfed.

Yes powercreep is a problem in the long run but this is still an arpg, you are supposed to kill hundred of mobs in a minute, white mobs are supposed to be walking loot boxes, they are not supposed to give you a fight. If you want to die 5 times against every single random mob go play dark souls, this isn’t the game for you. Keeping an eye on poe currency buy, you will get more gains.

Some players said that they like a game that lets they blow up a screen of mobs in the blink of an Eye when they get their gear going, the thing they hate about D3 is that they scaled it the Opposite way, nothing in D3 feels interesting. At high levels the mobs are so tanky that you have to take the time to group them up and then gring on a stack of 200 mobs for about a minute of two and then you finally have that health bar down.
