i dont remember if i discovered the link to that from this website. if i did, and if this is old news to you guys. i apologize. but this amazes me. conspiracy or not.

share some of your thoughts. if you dont feel like watching the whole movie a preview of what the main idea of it is here.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=vuBo4E77ZXo

i do though suggest u take the time and watch the full movie

let the debate begin

The Jesus segment shows a lot of bias, and skates over debated facts, yet it does raise a good few issues about the historicity of Jesus, and the astrological themes throughout the New Testament.

The section on 9/11 raises some interesting points, my favorite of which is the fact that multiple people in the towers reported explosions coming from the basement, knocking them off their feet.

The section on the world's financial history, the American banking system, etc. seems to be true; that the world is run by a few corrupt bankers isn't that unreasonable.

The only problem is just about every single "fact" they posted about Jesus was not only invalid, just about anyone who has a slight amount of study behind their backs could instantly tell how it was wrong. Numerous times in the movie they tried to say that Jesus was the same throught every culture because he was born on the 25th of December and that every other nation on the earth had a "savior" born on that date. The only thing is no one ever said that Jesus was born on the 25th of December, seeing as how that date is on a modern calendar that no one had back then. Also the date was the same as the rebirth of the Sol Invictus and one of the popes decided to use that date as a day of celebration for the birth of Jesus as he did with many other pagan holidays. This is only one of the instances where they tried to prove Jesus was a fraud however I can't remember them all right now and quite frankly I'm a little too busy to watch another 2 hour movie. Once I get some time to watch it again I'll repost.

The stuff about 9/11 may be true however I wouldn't necissarily blame it on the government. There is no factual evidence to support government intervention, for all we know there could have been other terrorists working inside the buildings before the planes hit as a backup in case they missed or something.

And like shedder said I would be more than happy to agree that there are plenty of curropt bankers that are in the majority control over the world. It's not that hard to believe that some people will do anything to get to the top and stay there as long as possible.

That's just one example of the many recurring themes in Christianity and older religions.

I know I can't remember all of the things they tried to say in the movie though. One of the things I do remember was that Zeitgeist continuously said that Christians believed that Jesus WAS born on December 25th, however any good christian will tell you that the date isn't exact its just the date we chose to give I will admit that it is a reoccuring event in other religions as well but you can't try and say that is a factor in determining wether or not he is real like Zeitgeist was saying. I have to go now my sister needs to get on but I'll be back soon to explain a little more.

Awesome thanks for the transcript, the only other time I would be able to watch it is in like 10 hours lol. Yea I remember they had a ton of examples but most of them were only slightly relevant I'll take a quick read over it though and get back to you on it :)

I haven't quite yet finished but while I was reading I started getting to the point where they talked about how the flood was a story in every nation of the world. While it's true that there is a similar story in every nation's history, shouldn't that simply make it obvious that there truly was a flood that destroyed the world and one family was aboard the boat that saved all the animals? I mean if the rest of the world descended from that one family of course they would pass the story to all of their children and so on.

They also spoke about how the savior's story was going through every nation in one way or another. The thing is if we go by what the Bible says, the first people alive were given details on the promise of a savior and almost all of the first peoples that were given life all heard more and more details on the savior. Now when their children started branching out and separating they all would have decided to interpret the promise in their own way so they would each have a base with slightly changed details. And the religions that they mentioned in the movie were all cited as being after the Bible has recorded the promise of a savior(being well before the 2600BC mark). Notably they mentioned the Egyptians and the sun god Horus. I would assume that a nation of a round one million would be influenced by the vast nation of the Jews which had grown to a few million and easily outnumbered the Egyptians while they were in slavery.

The final thing I wanted to add before I go again, was the fact that they claimed that when Jesus said I will be with you until the end of time, that it was mistranslated and should've said aeon or age. If you check any dictionary although it does say aeon also means age, it also says that aeon means an indefinitely long period of time. Indefinable does mean that you cannot say when it ends right? So how can you say that you know when they end of this aeon will be?

It seems more to me like the flood theme is a common one.

In any case, the flood stories are all from different time eras.

The savior motif is common throughout many civilizations, including ones that had no contact with the Jews.

While they may not have directly contacted the Jews, if the flood did happen then all of the nations at that time would have decended from the same family, therefore everyone would still have that same idea of a savior. It would still have been passed down, of course this is all assuming that the flood did happen and only 7 humans survived it.

Humans have lived in the Americas, Australia, and the Far East for longer than the Bible allows.

Also, you seem to be taking the Bible literally, and interpreting science to make it fit. This is a great example of fundamentalism.

i agree with this to some extent...
i do think though that the government was directly involved in 9/11. bush received several warnings about an attack on the WTC and just sat on his ass and played runescape. i also think that the world is DOMINATED by greedy bankers, i have read some other articles that suggest a one world government is being set in place and if so, thats sad.

my key point though is that america is nothing like how it was founded in 1776. our founding 4 father had envisioned a country where people were free and could speak against their government and influence change. in modern america none of this is true. the patriot act is basically a way around the constitution, destroying the basic principles america was founded on. the war on terror is a lame way for us to give up our rights to a hand full of people in the government who have never had a life and never will. i dont get it, america isnt america anymore open your eyes, its just the media and government wont tell you that because why should they? ..another great reason to leave the country when i graduate yey.

After watching this movie, I posed myself a few questions - Do I work for, or against the Zeitgeist? Is there going to be another outcome, or would I only be postponing this outcome if I were to resist it? Would I have to succumb to the Zeitgeist, in order to resist it?
