hes doing good dude. he did a stint in county jail for like 18 months, so that was tough...but since he's been out he's been clean and doing well. I think he's clean something like 2 years now and is in management for some security company believe it or not considering he was sentenced for armed robbery lol...

I was making money moves in my career but covid fucked that up. I'm only just now getting back into it, so here's hoping it was just a temporary delay, and things get back on track. It's hard to believe 7 months have gone by...

I was fucked three ways. I was a product manager for disney's digital assets portfolio, everything under disneyland, disney world, disney cruiseline, their mobile app, their subsidiary travel agencies, all of it was in my domain.

So travel, crowds, entertainment: the trifecta of covid fuckery on our economy. I didn't stand a chance lol. I thought maybe the 4th fiscal quarter and our governor lifting all restrictions would give my old position hope for reestablishment, but NOPE. They've just laid off another 28,000 employers world-wide lol T_T

 

yea no bueno amigo. got quite a bit of DIS in my personal so I've been following; the layoffs are tough as fuck. did they do anything severance wise for ya?

 

Nope, I was a contractor, so while I worked for Disney, I was employed by an agency and they straight terminated all contracts during their initial furloughs
