Are botfarms still viable?

just moved to a new house and I have an office now so I have the space for 5-10 computers.

Any tips, tricks, or tits?

Why would you buy 5-10 computers, when you can rent a server for less money + do it all from one computer? Yes bot farms are still here, we have plenty over on our website.

 

Most definitely, there are people making bank still, it's a career for a handful of people so they take it as serious as a job. I know for a fact 6 computers is unnecessary, servers are better.
Save the money from 3 computers and invest in a script.
Firstly, you'd need to buy a method if you don't have one, like I said, the key is to get the most accessible method for accounts so you can just get 30-40 accounts and make 500k-1m an hour, that's the key, like karamaja trading before it got leaked.
There are still unknown money making methods to the public that people know and buy private scripts for, maybe they may sell it for a considerable price if they don't have the time or money to do serious power farms such as yourself.
Once you have the method (lower requirements required the better) invest in a private script, maybe not on runescape forums like sythe where people are good but extremely good script makers who aren't familiar with runescape but familiar with java, they'll make you up an amazing script that heavily reduces the chances of getting banned.
If it requires minimal skill requirements then the likelihood of getting banned is a lot slimmer, just make sure to do times like 8 PM gmt to 5-6 am GMT. GL

 

dont rly need the computers are needed but yes its still viable, just try buying private script or coming up with niche money making method then buy script for it, common/public scripts premium or not i find are quite risky

 

Writing your own scripts is the only way, in my opinion.

Obviously it depends on the script and if its a private one. The thing with private scripts is that less people use them, less ppl notice the bots, less ppl report them, less reports go to jmods, no drawing their attention.
Some people do bot some things as from what ive heard, but it rly depends on what kind of profit margins u want, i think that dragon bots etc get banned fairly quickly, so its not very easy to recoup ur investment of bond+whip+the accoun trained to the stats

It's a bad idea to keep extra computers at your house to run bots, it's so inefficient. Use virtual servers from an established cloud provider such as Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, OVH, Togglebox etc
