Honestly mate, it's not that bad. Just make sure you have the requirements. The majority of the websites already detail what you should purchase(including teleportation methods) to ensure maximus efficiency.
If you are a visual person(like the majority of people) after knowing what you need and expect from the quest, hop on Youtube and look for the most viewed video guide and follow the video while you quest(side by side).
Read the comments beforehand because some guides might have a mistake and users generally comment on the video.

Questing is actually quite fun, I find it funner to quest all the stats I have than to do myself. I'm going for max QP's as a 1 defense 15 prayer pure.
